We will have a den meeting at Encanto Park in Duarte. It will be busy because we’ll start by learning about first aid. Then we’ll tune up our bikes and when we’re ready, we’ll hit the road!
Date: Sunday, November 6
Time: 12:00-4:00 pm
Location: Meet at the parking lot at Encanto Park.
Clothing: You must wear your den t-shirt. You also MUST wear a helmet: NO EXCEPTIONS.
Biking: The route is very flat and completely isolated from traffic. You do not need a mountain bike or even a sophisticated road bike.
Outdoor stuff: Bring a water bottle for your bike and wear sunscreen!

Schedule
12:30-1:30: Readyman first aid activities
1:30-2:00: Tune up bikes (Parents: If you have WD40 or a bike pump, please bring it so that we can proceed faster.)
2:00-4:00: Bike ride, with snack at the halfway point.
