We Need Volunteers

Are you the one?

Cub Scout Pack 1 needs volunteers, at the pack level and at the den level.  There are many different ways to get involved.

Pack Needs
The Pack needs the following positions filled in order to make our year run more smoothly:

  • Pack Photographer
  • Public Relations Chair
  • Outings Coordinator

Den Needs
Each den will run more smoothly if the following positions are filled:

  • Den Photographer
  • Outings Coordinator

Please contact your Den Leader or the Cubmaster if you think you can give some time. The more volunteers we have, the stronger our program and easier work load for all.

Questions:
Q. Do I need to wear a uniform?
A. Scouting uniforms are reserved for trained adults who have passed BSA background checks, taken Youth Protection training and role specific training. While we’d love to have more registered adult leaders, many volunteer positions do not require this level of commitment and therefore, no, you wouldn’t need a uniform.

Q. What if several of us parents want to share a job?
A. That’s great. Many things that have to be managed, such as snacks at den meetings, can easily be done by several people in a den. Coordinate your plan with your den leader and welcome aboard.

Q. What if my particular skill isn’t mentioned in the wish lists?
A. We are always looking for talent and cannot name every thing a big pack undertakes throughout a year. If you feel you could be a resource for the Pack, please contact the cubmaster – John Culpepper.
