The scout council is announcing an improved online popcorn ordering program. All we need to do is have the den leader register your scout online, then you can send emails to family and friends with the link and info, and each time someone places an online order your scout receives sales credit. Your family and friends pay for their popcorn with a credit card, the popcorn is shipped directly to them (there is a shipping charge, of course), and you do not have to handle any money/checks or deliver any popcorn. New for 2011…
- The Den leader can now track all online sales for each scout in the den.
- The Den leader can apply online sales to the prize programs, eliminating the need for the “online sales only” prize program.
Since this is a new feature there are some limitations. The biggie is that we have to manually create an online profile for the Cub Scout. Due to this, we won’t be loading every Pack 1 cub into the Camp Master website. If you are interested in offering online ordering, please contact your den leader or the cubmaster and ask that your cub get an online profile. We will create the profile and a password and access list will be sent to you.
