Let’s Go To The Mountains!
This is a Camp Wasewagan year! If you havent been before, Camp Wasewagan is always a lot of fun.
Quick Facts:
- Date: May 4 (Friday Night) – May 6 (Sunday noon)
- Location: Wasewagan is in Angelus Oaks (near Barton Flats/Big Bear)
- Cost: The camper fee for the full weekend is $160 (adults and non-cub youth) Cub Scouts pay $125
- Accommodations: Wasewagan has bunk houses. Most have one or two private rooms which we use for lady leaders and moms. Bring sleeping bag and pillow.
- Food: Wasewagan has a full dining hall. All meals from Saturday Breakfast to Sunday lunch are in the fee. Eat dinner on the way.
- Transportation: Families are responsible for their own transportation.
- Activities: Archery, Paintball range (targets not people), Mountain Biking, Swimming, Hiking, Ropes Course, BB Guns, Fishing (if you are over 16 you need a fishing license)
Other issues:
- All scouts must have a completed medical form
- Wear your Class B Uniform (T-Shirt)
- Please bring No-Electronics (That holds true for Dad’s as well)
- Akelas are responsible for their kids. Cub Leaders should not have to spend their weekend chasing your children.
This weekend is always fun for all participants. Early registration is encouraged. We MUST give them accurate numbers before we visit so pay attention to the registration deadline. Reservations close 4/30/12.
